News Sucks.

I hate the news right now. It’s like a one-way ticket to depression city. Avoid it. Seriously. I’m boycotting the news for a while because it’s totally bringing me down.

This is what I know about our Generation: We’re ridiculously, irrationally, undeservingly talented. Yeah… we can be lazy (I admit, I’d rather be watching Gossip Girl) but if we get on the ball and put our fingers to the keyboard or canvas or calculator or guitar (insert your profession here) then there’s no stopping us. I don’t think we need to worry about the economy. We need to get a little motivation, sure. We might need a swift kick in the butt, yeah. But we don’t need to worry. We are very well endowed.

So turn that blaring TV off. Close that depressing newspaper (unless you’re doing Sudoku - it’s supposed to help us avoid dementia!) and put the pedal to the metal.

No depressing news here. I promise.

Freehand is blasting into 2009 with a new attitude (cheerful) and a new home (Londontown).

Keep moving.
